Travis Alexander performs all aspects of our investment process for Ceres Farms including deal sourcing and closing of acquisitions, pipeline tenant due diligence, ongoing management of current properties and tenant relationships, and the underwriting of capital expenditure projects on existing properties.
Prior to Ceres, Travis was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of Aunalytics, Inc., a privately held data technology company. As the CFO, Travis was responsible for the oversight and leadership of all finance, treasury, accounting, revenue cycle, budgeting/forecasting and financial reporting functions of the company.
Travis was formerly a Senior Vice President at Mesirow Advanced Strategies where he was responsible for operational due diligence (ODD) reviews of new and existing hedge fund managers across all hedge fund strategies with a focus on long/short credit, structured credit, reinsurance and emerging managers. Additionally, Travis led the ODD team’s review of new and existing managers throughout Asia while also routinely meeting with Mesirow’s current and prospective investors.
Travis began his professional career with KPMG where he was a Senior Manager in the audit practice focusing exclusively on financial services clients including hedge funds, private equity funds and insurance companies.
Travis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy and a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. He is licensed CPA and a CFA Charterholder.
